Taas tällainen väliaika gradun tekoon. Kahvia ja kakkua...

This was totally an ex tempore thing today. I was writing my master's thesis and got a bit tired. Baking is always a good way of having something else to think about! Another possibility would have been a clean apartment. ;)

A straight translation from Finnish to English is actually Silver Cake.

I decided to sift some confectioners sugar on top.

Tarvikkeet:

100 g voita
2 dl (n. 6 kpl) valkuaisia
3 dl sokeria
2,5 dl vehnäjauhoja
1 rkl perunajauhoja

Vuokaan:

voita
vehnäjauhoja (mantelilastuja)

Valmistus:

  1. Esilämmitä uuni 200° (kiertoilmauuni 175°).
  2. Sulata voi. Sihtaa jauhot yhteen.
  3. Vatkaa valkuaiset kovaksi vaahdoksi.
  4. Lisää sokeri, jauhot ja voi. Vatkaa yhteen.
  5. Voitele n. 1,5 l kakkuvuoka ja jauhota vehnäjauhoilla tai mantelilastuilla. Kaada taikina vuokaan.
  6. Paista 25 - 30 minuuttia.
  7. Anna kakun hieman jäähtyä vuoassaan. Kumoa ja jäähdytä vuoan alla.
